2012 brings the first annual DIY 5k to Downtown Ferndale! Proceeds benefit art programs in Ferndale Public Schools. Lace up your sneakers, get a good workout, then enjoy the food, Michigan brews, live music and amazing shopping at DIY Street Fair.

Each registrant will receive an event t shirt (limited supply), a DIY event drink ticket and a fun, locally sponsored goody bag. Massage therapists will be available after the race, and the DIY Street Fair open at 11AM.

The run will be loosely timed for those runners who want to track their pace, but runners will not be placed. The race will start and finish along Troy St, one block south of Nine Mile behind the Woodward Avenue Brewers.

Packet Pickup
Early packet pick up and on-site registration will be available on Thursday, September 13 from 7PM to 9PM at The Loving Touch (22634 Woodward Avenue). Packet information will not be mailed.

Walk-up Registration
Online registration closes on Friday, September 14th. On-site registration will be available from 9AM until 9:45AM the morning of the event at the main beer tent at the DIY Street Fair right behind the Woodward Avenue Brewery. On-site registration is cash or check only, 5k $30., 1mi Fun Run $10.
